Vink Teague & Associates is not a typical CPA firm. We work almost exclusively with entrepreneurial companies and individuals in the middle market of American businesses. Our people are trained, not only to meet your needs for compliance services offered by most CPA firms, but also to provide you with tools and assistance to make your business grow, to provide you with a means to accomplish your goals and to give you the personal attention you deserve.

Many of our clients have been with us for more than 26 years! They feel comfortable calling us when they have questions. They like our ability to customize our services to their individual needs. They know that we will provide services to fulfill their needs at a fair fee. And, if they are not pleased with our service, we will refund the fee. Although this guarantee is provided to every client, we have never been requested to refund any fee.

Vink Teague & Associates offers a full range of services for companies and individuals, including audit and assurance services, tax return preparation, retirement planning, business development and management services. We care about you and your financial future!

We offer businesses several levels of service:

    LEVEL ONE – COMPLIANCE NEEDS WITH TAX FILINGS AND/OR FINANCIAL ASSURANCE SERVICES

    We will prepare your business and/or personal tax returns to comply with Federal and State laws and/or audit, review or compile your financial statements to comply with bank or other requirements.

    LEVEL TWO – GAIN CONTROL & DIRECTION IN BUSINESS AND PERSONAL FINANCIAL MATTERS

    We will assist you in preparing budgets, in developing Key Performance Indicators that apply to critical areas of your business and in interpreting your periodic reports on a monthly, quarterly or semiannual basis.

    LEVEL THREE – GROW YOUR BUSINESS FOR FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE AND PEACE OF MIND

    At this level of service, we actively assist you in development of your goals and the strategic plan to accomplish them. We help you discover your business’ profit potential to enable you to make your business more profitable, therefore, more valuable. This may encompass us becoming involved in non-accounting aspects of your business, such as team training and customer service.

    LEVEL FOUR – ONE TIME PROJECTS

ASSURANCE SERVICES



We can meet your needs for audited, reviewed and/or compiled financial statements of the Company or an individual prepared in accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America or on another comprehensive basis of accounting, such as cash or tax basis. Additional assurance services we provide, are applying agreed-upon procedures to data, an account or a contract, review or compilation of financial forecasts and/or projections, forensic accounting and litigation support services with expert testimony. We also can consult with you to strengthen your internal controls.

TAX SERVICES



Besides meeting your needs for tax compliance services such as tax return preparation for businesses, estates, trusts and individuals, we offer estate planning and comprehensive tax planning to ensure that you receive every tax savings appropriate to your situation. We will focus on how we can use tax planning to increase your net worth and chart your course for financial success.

BUSINESS CONSULTING



Through our Ran One membership, we have training and systems designed to guide you through the process of managing your business to achieve its fullest profit potential. We are in a unique position with our experience to help you see the full picture as you learn to work ON your business rather than IN your business. One service offered is a Targeting Business Results consultation, which identifies the financial strengths and weaknesses of your business, analyzes the key financial elements related to the overall health and performance of your business and helps you determine what changes you could make and the results of those changes. Another service we provide is an Effective Financial Management Workshop to help you:

  • Understand your key financial performance indicators,
  • Plan your cash flow to eliminate surprises,
  • Review your cost drivers to see if costs can be reduced or eliminated,
  • Review your products and customers for their overall contributions to profitability,
  • Identify where the most potential lies within your business for increasing profitability, and

Our Client Advisory Board program is a service offered that is a critical step in gathering feedback and learning how you can provide “awesome” service and products to your customers. OUR TEAM

REBECCA J. TEAGUE - ASSURANCE SHAREHOLDER
Ms. Teague, a graduate of Texas Tech University, has more than 36 years of public accounting experience in auditing and business consulting in a wide variety of industries. Ms. Teague is a member of various professional organizations, serving on the Peer Review Committee of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Dallas Chapter of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and a director and past president of the Dallas Chapter of the American Society of Women Accountants. Ms. Teague also served as a member of the Advisory Council to the Department of Accounting at Texas Tech University and is the Founder and President of K.I.D.S. Foundation, Inc.

MARY S. HENNINGTON - TAX SHAREHOLDER
Ms. Hennington serves clients in the real estate, manufacturing and service industries, as well as consulting in a variety of tax areas. Ms. Hennington, who graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, has more than 32 years of experience in public accounting and industry.

Ms. Hennington is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Dallas Chapter of Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and is active in various church-related and charitable organizations. She is currently serving as a Board member and Executive committee member of NEXUS Recovery Center, Inc. as well as a Board member of Hillcrest Villa Association.

BRUCE A. MARQUESS - TAX SHAREHOLDER
Mr. Marquess has 26 years of public accounting experience with clients engaged in manufacturing, real estate development, professional services and retail businesses. Mr. Marquess, a graduate of the University of Missouri, is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Dallas Chapter of The Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.

KATHY K. STILL - ASSURANCE SHAREHOLDER
Ms. Still, a cum laude graduate of Texas Woman’s University, has more than 23 years of public accounting and industry experience in auditing and business consulting, serving clients engaged in manufacturing, distribution, professional services and not-for-profit enterprises.

Ms. Still is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Dallas Chapter of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is active in various church-related activities, currently serving as treasurer and formerly serving as president and financial secretary for her church.

JAMES D. HODGES - TAX SHAREHOLDER
Mr. Hodges serves clients in the service and real estate industries, as well as consulting in a variety of tax areas. Mr. Hodges, who graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington, has more than 30 years of experience in public accounting and industry.

Mr. Hodges is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants’ and the Dallas Chapter of Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Hodges is also a licensed real estate broker. He is a Past-President of the Bishop Lynch High School Board and Past-President and Board member of NEXUS Recovery Center, Inc. He is also a past Board Member for the Family Studies Center in Dallas.
